This is a lens that’s been on my short list for some time, but since there are limits to what one can spend on gear it wasn’t as high a priority as the 35mm Summilux.  So now, with a little bit of luck my bag has both a 35mm and 50mm Summilux lens.  The plan is to shoot them for month or two and then see which one stays.

I bought the lens tonight, had a great dinner with a friend and squeezed in a few shot’s in between.  The images below were shot DNG, imported to Lightroom 3, edited in Silver Efex Pro and then exported for the web.
