On this trip to Tokyo I stumbled across the Hie Shrine while wondering around Akasaka. If you approach it from the torii gates you’re in for quite a treat, they’re beautiful and picturesque.

By chance I happened to slide in through a side gate right at closing and nearly had the whole place to myself, something kind of rare I’d imagine.
